This semester, I went to the writing center for my Choice Project in my portfolio. I had already finished my personal narrative by the time I made the appointment, so the purpose was to look over my writing and finding what I needed to fix. First, someone read over my paper and fixed the small, grammatical errors. Afterwards, we spoke about the bigger picture ideas. He gave me tips on how to clarify my writing and explained my mistakes to me, so I could know how to fix them. This meeting moved my piece forward because it helped me clarify my work and fix some of my major problems.
